To cope with the intensifying burden on the technical documentation team and the increasing volume of translations to be managed, Horiba Medical realized that DITA and a Component Content Management system could provide an appropriate solution. In this presentation Jean-Michel and Paul will share their experience in deploying DITA and a CCM for the creation of technical documentation in a hematology and clinical chemistry instrumentation environment.  They will explain the selection and implementation processes, with a particular focus on the benefits provided by DITA.

An Executive Perspective: Making DITA an Operational Reality

As User Information Manager at Micro Focus, Chris has been responsible for the decision to move to a CMS and DITA, and for the selection of Trisoft.  He will describe the business drivers behind these decisions, how the user information strategy at Micro Focus is unfolding, and how the strategy has been impacted by acquisitions, localization and agile project management.
