The Center for Information-Development Management (CIDM) brings together the most highly skilled and talented managers in the field of information development from across the US and internationally to facilitate the sharing of information about current trends, best practices, and developments within the industry, from information development to training and support.

Led by Dr. JoAnn Hackos, an international expert and leader in the management of design, development, and dissemination of information to customers and employees, CIDM

• conducts benchmark studies among member organizations and others in the information development industry
  
  
• sponsors information-development and management research
  
  
• circulates industry best practices, studies, and other resources through the Best Practices newsletter, the CIDM web site, Information Management News, online seminars, annual conferences, and research white papers
