Software Engineer
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing and co-developing the Trisoft CMS. Being a Senior Software Engineer entails involvement in all stages of developing a packaged solution from designing through to testing and delivery. Your product knowledge will allow you to assess the impact of changes to the product.
Major Responsibilities and Tasks
- Designs and develops new features for the Trisoft CMS using a consultative and solution-oriented approach.
- Reports progress and identifies, escalates and removes obstacles that might endanger the agreed release date.
- Solves complex engineering problems.
- May act as a technical Project Leader with some direct supervisory responsibilities in addition to own work assignments.
- Shares knowledge with less experienced peers or has high collegial interaction.
- Raises innovative ideas.
Qualifications and Requirements
- You have a master degree in Informatics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the development and packaging of a commercial software solution.
- You are dynamic, creative, flexible, stress-resistant and an excellent team player. You are not afraid of taking responsibility.
- Highly experienced with software development processes, and in particular, software design and unit/integration testing. Furthermore, you are methodical and organized and have the ability to document your designs clearly.
- Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills (at both a technical and non technical level) as well as strong interpersonal capabilities.
- Demonstrates initiative and contributes to problem solving.
- Familiar with the following technologies:
- ASP.NET, HTML, XML, XSL, DOM VBScript, JavaScript
- Distributed: MTS, COM(+), DCOM, SOAP, .NET Remoting, ADO
- Databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server
- Tools: Visual Studio .NET
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
